Where We Work

Presently Grass Root Foundation is engaged in mainstreaming children in the Slums of Chennai where children find it difficult to enter quality schools, get the required skills to compete with other aspirants for higher education or enter the industry.

To begin with we have chosen Otteri area in Purasawalkam, Chennai and we have a strong presence among the communities and would like to consolidate the good work that has been happening in this area with other NGO’s who have now withdrawn from the area.
